Capcom’s Up series of games have all been on the same price point and are currently available on Steam.
The first one is available for $4.99 USD, with the latest update coming on January 11, 2018 for $7.99.
Capcom said in a statement that the cost of the games has been adjusted to reflect this.
“Up is a new entry in the Up series that is set in a post-apocalyptic future where mankind has made major changes to the Earth.
The story is set before the events of the original game, with a cast of characters, including your favorite character, Samus Aran.
The game also includes a number of new features such as new game modes, new weapons and more,” the statement reads.
“While there are no plans to offer a ‘regular’ price for Up at this time, Capcom is working with partners to make Up available at a later date.”
As for why Capcom decided to include an Ups franchise cost calculator, Capcom said in the statement:”The current Up cost is a bit high and the franchise is very popular.
For this reason, we have adjusted the cost so that we can provide an accurate value for the franchise.”
The company has previously indicated that it will be adding new franchises in the future.
Last week, it announced a series of five new game titles, including a reboot of the popular Ninja Gaiden franchise, as well as two new series, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
The company is also making a move to bring back its popular Capcom Fighters series, a fighting game that debuted on the Nintendo 64.
